Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive

Safety Officer

for our upcoming projects in

Bhavani, Erode

. The ideal candidate should possess a

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field

, along with certifications in

Fire and Safety (OHSE)

, and have a

minimum of 10+ years of experience

in industrial safety. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the

textile or manufacturing sector

.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with all

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)

regulations and company policies. Conduct regular

safety inspections

,

risk assessments

, and

safety audits

to proactively identify hazards. Implement and monitor effective

safety protocols

and

preventive measures

to reduce workplace risks. Organize and lead

fire drills

,

safety awareness programs

, and

employee training sessions

. Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities in compliance with statutory norms. Work closely with all departments to cultivate a strong and consistent

safety-first culture

.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field

(regular course). Certification in

Fire & Safety / OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety & Environment)

.

Minimum of 10+ years of experience

in safety management, preferably in the

textile or manufacturing industry

. Strong knowledge of

industrial safety standards

,

emergency response

, and

risk mitigation techniques

. Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Practical experience managing safety in

large-scale industrial or high-risk environments

. Familiarity with

national and international HSE regulations

and

best practices

. Experience in

safety audits

, documentation, and

compliance management

.
