We are seeking a qualified

Safety Officer

to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations in our machine manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working culture across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, ISO, and industry standards. Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures. Organize safety drills, training, and awareness programs for employees. Monitor usage and condition of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Maintain safety records, documentation, and compliance reports. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and workers to enforce safe practices.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations. Experience in implementing safety practices in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Good communication and training skills to guide employees on safety. Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly. Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills.

Eligibility:

Qualification:

Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety or equivalent (mandatory). NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2+ years in manufacturing, heavy engineering, or construction industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
