Job Description

Essential

: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME), or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (BEEE/DEEE).

Certifications

: CLR (Construction Labour Regulation) certificate from Annamalai University or Madras University.

Responsibilities:

Safety Compliance

: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including ISO 45001-2018 standards.

Risk Assessment

: Conduct regular safety audits and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate risks.

Training & Awareness

: Organize and deliver safety training sessions to employees.

Incident Investigation

: Investigate accidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions.

Documentation

: Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.

Emergency Preparedness

: Develop and implement emergency response plans.Indeed
Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards. Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard identification. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct safety inspections and audits. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Experience:

1-2 years in a safety officer or related role within manufacturing or industry field.
