Job Description

Develop, implement, and monitor the company's safety management system, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify hazards and corrective actions. Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with preventive and corrective measures. Deliver safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors. Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics (KPI, LTIR, near misses) and submit regular reports to management. Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices across all operations. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to integrate safety into daily activities. Establish emergency preparedness and response plans including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and first aid. Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders regarding safety compliance. Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging employee participation and reporting of unsafe conditions.
