Job Description

:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our construction project team(Road and Highways). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a safe workplace, and reducing risks on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor site safety policies in compliance with statutory regulations and company standards.

Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.

Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Organize and deliver toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for workers.

Investigate accidents/near-misses and prepare reports with corrective measures.

Maintain safety records, documentation, and statutory registers.

Ensure proper usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and management for safety compliance.

Liaise with government safety inspectors during visits/audits.

Key Skills & Competencies :

Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and statutory requirements.

Strong observation and reporting skills.

Ability to train and motivate workers on safety awareness.

Effective communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
