Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer with 1-2 years of experience in HVAC project environments. The ideal candidate will support EHS compliance, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe working practices across HVAC installations.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

Conduct site safety inspections and audits for HVAC installation activities. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001). Identify job-specific hazards in ducting, piping, and equipment installation areas. Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE among HVAC technicians. Implement safety training sessions and toolbox talks specific to HVAC risks. Prepare and maintain daily safety reports and incident logs. Support emergency preparedness, including fire safety for mechanical rooms. Ensure safe practices in confined spaces and work-at-height tasks. Enforce lockout/tagout procedures during equipment maintenance. Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to integrate safety protocols.
