Review and approve contractors'
HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements
, and ensure their effective implementation.
Organize and deliver
safety training sessions
, toolbox talks, and inductions for all workers on-site.
Lead and participate in
incident investigations
, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
Prepare and submit
daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports
for internal and client review.
Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and contractors on all HSE-related matters.
Ensure strict adherence to
local safety laws, regulations, and standards
(e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
Promote a
positive safety culture
across all project stakeholders.
Provide
advice to project managers
on health and safety issues and support in project risk management.
Skill Set Required
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
Certified Safety Officer
qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) are mandatory.
Minimum
5+ years
of relevant experience, preferably in a PMC, construction, or infrastructure environment.
In-depth knowledge of
local HSE laws
, standards, and international best practices.
Strong ability to prepare clear and detailed
HSE documentation and reports
