Job Summary

VEIPL is hiring a

Safety Officer - MEP

for the

Thoth Mall commercial project in Surat

. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing safety practices for

MEP works (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting)

to ensure a safe and incident-free work environment at site.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor safety policies for

MEP activities

Conduct daily site safety inspections and toolbox talks Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms and company safety standards Identify hazards, carry out risk assessments, and ensure corrective/preventive actions Monitor safe work practices for Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting works Ensure proper usage of PPE by all site personnel Maintain safety records, permits, incident & near-miss reports Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on safety matters

Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Any discipline) Safety Certification:

NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety

(Preferred)

Experience

Minimum

3-5 years

experience as a

Safety Officer in MEP / Construction projects

Experience in

commercial or mall projects

preferred

Languages

English & Hindi (Mandatory)

In-person (Surat - Thoth Mall Project Site)
