Urgent Job Opening - Safety Officer

We are urgently looking for a

Safety Officer

for our ongoing ABB project at BALCO, Korba.

Qualification:

B.Tech or Polytechnic Diploma (mandatory) along with ADIS or PDIS.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in a relevant role.

Joining:

Candidate must be available to join within 15 days.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor safety procedures and practices at the site in compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at the ABB Project site to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions. Deliver safety induction and training programs for new workers and conduct toolbox talks regularly. Maintain all safety documentation, reports, and records as per site and legal requirements. Ensure the use of proper PPE by all workers and enforce discipline related to safety. Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and ensure preventive measures are implemented. Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure overall site safety. Liaise with external agencies and authorities for safety audits and compliance inspections. Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the workforce. Ensure emergency preparedness and conduct mock drills regularly.

Pay: ₹18,230.02 - ₹35,000.00 per month
