We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced
Safety Officer
to join our team on a
contract basis
for a
construction project in Bangalore
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with safety regulations, and implementing safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on-site.
Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers.
Ensure compliance with all local and national safety regulations.
Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain safety documentation and records.
Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to enhance workplace safety.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in construction safety
.
B.tech /BE & Diploma in Industrial & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Certification in safety management (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations and Documentation.
Experience in conducting safety audits and accident investigations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
