Job Responsibilities
Daily Safety Monitoring
Perform daily safety inspections across the site to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Monitor workers' activities to ensure they follow safety rules, PPE usage, and safe operating procedures.
Safety Training & Awareness
Conduct regular safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees.
Educate workers on safe equipment handling, emergency procedures, and hazard prevention.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, incidents, near-miss reports, and corrective actions.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports to management.
Risk Assesment
Identify workplace hazards and perform risk assessments to evaluate severity and likelihood.
Recommend mitigation measures and ensure implementation of control strategies.
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and implement emergency response plans for fire, accidents, and other critical situations.
Conduct mock drills and ensure all staff understand evacuation routes and emergency procedures.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety compliance at all work stages.
Address safety-related complaints and ensure quick resolution of issues.
Communicate safety guidelines clearly to the workforce and maintain strong teamwork across departments.
Incident Management
Respond to incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Conduct preliminary investigations, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
Housekeeping & Site Discipline
Ensure proper housekeeping, waste management, and maintenance of a clean and safe work environment.
Maintain discipline on-site by enforcing safety rules, site access control, and PPE compliance.
Permit to Work System
Implement and monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, electrical work, and lifting operations.
Verify that all permits are approved, valid, and followed as per safety standards.
