We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Safety Officer

to oversee plant safety operations in our edible oil/chemical/food processing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive plant safety program. Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, including

FSSAI

standards. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections. Maintain accurate documentation of training, incidents, and safety records. Investigate safety incidents and recommend corrective/preventive actions. Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to enforce safety protocols. Organize safety training and awareness programs for plant personnel. Prepare regular safety reports for management review.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualification:

M.E / M.Tech in Fire and Industrial Safety.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in a Safety Officer role, preferably in Edible Oil, Chemical Process, or Food Industry. Strong understanding of

FSSAI

safety standards and food safety regulations. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in safety documentation and reporting.
