Job Description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment

Follow the PTW system (permit to work) as per the client/site requirements.

Continuous monitoring of all safety-related documents, reports, and issues to keep them updated.

Verification of tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure good quality

Conducts toolbox meetings & conduct safety inductions for new workers and visitors at the site

Conducting investigations on near misses/accidents

Promoting safe practices on site

Manages all communications with Client/HO in regards of safety

Preparation of JSA & HIRA for all construction activities

preparation of a construction health and safety plan

Carrying out drills and exercises on managing emergency situations

Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs

Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with the site execution team

Responds to employees' safety concerns.

Coordinates all issues regarding hazardous materials or waste

Qualifications

Must have a state technical board-approved degree or diploma in industrial safety (ADIS) from a recognised institute.

Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety

At least 1 year experience in the Safety industry
