Project Exposure: 20-25 Storey High-Rise Projects

Role Overview

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring site safety practices for high-rise basebuild construction activities, ensuring compliance with EHS standards and statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and enforce site safety procedures for basebuild construction activities.

Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.

Manage permit-to-work systems for high-risk activities.

Monitor work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures.

Identify unsafe acts/conditions and ensure timely closure of observations.

Report incidents, near misses, and maintain safety records and documentation.

Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure compliance with EHS guidelines.

Key Requirements

5-7 years of safety experience in high-rise construction projects.

Mandatory exposure to 20-25 storey buildings.

Strong understanding of construction safety norms and statutory requirements.

Relevant safety certifications preferred.

Hands-on, site-oriented approach with good communication skills.
