Job Summary:
We are looking for a
Safety Officer
with strong experience in the
food manufacturing industry
. The candidate must be HACCP certified and responsible for ensuring workplace safety, food safety compliance, and adherence to statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor
HACCP, GMP, GHP, and Food Safety Management Systems
.
Ensure compliance with
FSSAI, Factory Act, and other statutory safety norms
.
Conduct regular
safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective & preventive actions.
Maintain safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Conduct
safety training and awareness programs
for employees.
Monitor use of PPE and enforce safety protocols on the shop floor.
Coordinate with production and quality teams for continuous safety improvement.
Handle internal and external audits related to food safety and workplace safety.
Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
HACCP, food safety standards, and compliance procedures
.
Understanding of
industrial safety practices
in food manufacturing.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Basic knowledge of
MS Excel & record maintenance
.
Ability to communicate safety guidelines effectively to staff.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in
Food Processing / Bakery / FMCG industry
.
Local candidate or willing to work at
Brahman Pipliya, Indore
.
Immediate joiners preferred.
