1. Assess Environment Aspect Impact Register and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Register, participate in safety committee meetings.
2. Ensure fire arrangements and first aid facilities are in place, respond to incidents, and fight fires during emergencies.
3. Maintain registers for visitors, employees, and vehicles; enforce COVID-19 protocols; report unsafe conditions/acts.
4. Liaise with government authorities (PF, ESI, Prof Tax, Factory Licenses, GPCB), issue PPE, and implement management system procedures.
5. Collect and store waste, conduct training, display MSDS of chemicals, and verify gas cylinders as per rules.
6. Communicate safety norms to contractors, issue Permit to Work, maintain incident records, and provide EHS induction and training.
7. Approve Environment Aspect Impact Register, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Register, and identify applicable legal requirements.
8. Conduct mock drills, provide first aid, participate in incident investigations, and communicate with internal and external agencies.
