About Us:

JJ EPC Pvt Ltd is a growing EPC contractor executing industrial, commercial, and residential construction projects across Gujarat. We emphasize safety, quality, and timely execution on every site.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a competent

Safety Officer (Civil Construction)

to oversee and ensure implementation of all safety procedures and compliance at project sites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction safety standards, site inspections, and documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor

health, safety, and environment (HSE)

policies at site. Conduct

daily toolbox talks

, safety inductions, and regular site inspections. Ensure all personnel use

PPE

and follow safe working practices. Identify potential hazards and ensure timely

corrective and preventive actions

. Maintain and update

safety records, checklists, and incident reports

. Coordinate with Project and Site Engineers for risk assessment and safe work methods. Conduct safety training and awareness sessions for site staff and workers. Ensure compliance with

statutory requirements

and client safety guidelines. Investigate accidents and prepare root-cause analysis and incident reports. Liaise with clients, consultants, and statutory authorities on safety matters.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Diploma / Degree in Civil or Industrial Safety / Government-recognized Safety Course

Experience:

Minimum

3-8 years

in safety management at construction sites (industrial or commercial)

Certifications (Preferred):

NEBOSH / IOSH / Safety Officer Certification from RLI / CLI

Knowledge Areas:

Construction safety standards and regulations Risk assessment and hazard identification First aid, fire prevention, and emergency response HSE documentation and reporting

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
