Job Opening: Safety Officer - Civil Construction

Experience:

2-5 years in

HSE for civil construction/infrastructure projects

Location:

Mehsana

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce site HSE policies and regulations Conduct daily site safety inspections Ensure proper use of PPE by all personnel Lead toolbox talks, inductions, and safety trainings Maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and accidents Investigate incidents and recommend corrective/preventive actions Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and contractors for safety compliance Assist in JSA, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements Conduct fire drills, mock evacuations, and emergency preparedness activities Maintain safety signages, first aid systems, and documentation Liaise with statutory bodies during audits and inspections

Qualifications:

Diploma in Industrial Safety

/ Fire & Safety or relevant degree

NEBOSH

/IOSH preferred Knowledge of local labour laws and safety regulations Experience in HSE audits and risk assessments Strong communication, analytical, and training skills
