Role - Safety Officer

Qualification - Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science with a specialization/certification in Industrial Safety.

Experience - 5 to 6 Years In Industrial Construction

Package - 6 LPA to 7 LPA

Location - Bhilwara RJ, visakhapatnam AP

Industries - Chemical, Agro chemical

Key Responsibilities:

? Monitor and enforce compliance with safety laws, regulations, and internal policies.

? Conduct daily safety inspections at the plant and project sites to identify and correct unsafe conditions.

? Ensure the use of appropriate PPE and adherence to safety protocols by all personnel, including contractors.

? Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.

? Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for employees, workers, and site visitors.

? Maintain documentation of safety audits, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and

training records.

? Implement and oversee systems such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), fire safety, emergency

preparedness, and confined space entry.

? Coordinate with departments to ensure safe practices during high-risk activities such as hot work, chemical handling, and equipment maintenance.

? Liaise with government and regulatory authorities during inspections and audits.

? Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns, visual aids, and regular safety meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

? Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science with a specialization/certification in Industrial Safety.

? Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or government-recognized Safety Diploma preferred.

? Experience: 5-6 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a manufacturing or industrial

project (preferably fertilizer, chemical, or food/feed processing).

? Languages: Proficiency in English and local language(s) preferred.

? Willingness to be present on-site across multiple shifts.

? Ability to respond to emergencies and work under pressure.

? Knowledge of environmental regulations and waste management practices is an added

advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
