: Safety Officer - ADIS Certified

Location:

Jaipur, Rajasthan

Experience:

4 to 5 Years

Qualification:

Diploma / Degree in Engineering + ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety)

Industry:

Manufacturing / Construction / Infrastructure / Industrial Projects

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with

factory safety laws

, company HSE policies, and local regulations. Conduct

regular safety inspections

of plant, equipment, and work areas. Implement and monitor

Permit to Work (PTW)

system for high-risk jobs like hot work, confined space, height work. Lead

fire safety drills

, mock drills, and emergency preparedness programs. Conduct

risk assessments (RA)

and

Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

for various operations. Maintain and inspect

fire-fighting systems, alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, and PPE stock.

Investigate incidents / near-misses, prepare

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

, and implement corrective actions. Deliver

HSE training & toolbox talks

to staff, workers, and contractors. Support compliance with

ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001

standards, if applicable. Maintain documentation such as

accident logs, safety statistics, and safety meeting records

. Liaise with regulatory bodies (DISH, Fire Department, etc.) during inspections or audits. Promote a strong

safety culture

across all departments and workforces.
Key Skills Required:

In-depth knowledge of

Indian Factory Act

,

BIS standards

, and

local labour laws

Hands-on experience in

EHS documentation

, audits, and inspections Ability to conduct

incident investigations

and drive actionable solutions Strong communication skills for

training & compliance

Familiarity with safety tools and software (if any)

Behavior-based safety (BBS)

exposure is an advantage
Educational Qualifications:

Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or equivalent)

ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety)

- Mandatory NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent - Preferred but not mandatory
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
