Supervisor/ Manager - Safety for a Construction Company(Contractor) at Mumbai

Position : Safety Officer / Manager

Work Experience: 6-15Yrs

Job Location: Vikhroli

Education : Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) From MSBTE - Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE)

Salary: 10-20%+ on your Current CTC (as per experience & industry standards )

Key Responsibilities:-

Safety Program Development & Implementation:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Identify and assess potential hazards on construction sites.

Safety Training and Education:

Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.

Provide ongoing safety education and awareness programs.

Develop and deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Safety Inspections and Audits:

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites.

Identify unsafe conditions and practices and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure proper use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Incident Investigation and Management:

Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.

Determine root causes of incidents and implement preventative measures.

Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and investigations.

Communication and Collaboration:

Serve as a primary point of contact for safety matters.

Communicate safety information and concerns to project teams and management.

Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure a safe work environment.

Data Management and Reporting:

Track and analyze safety performance data.

Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation.

Monitor safety metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Working Days : Monday to Saturday
