Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Safety Manager

to oversee and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations across our project sites. The candidate should have a strong understanding of safety protocols, legal requirements, and risk management practices, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining safety systems in industrial or construction settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor the company's HSE policies and procedures. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits. Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures. Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and recommend solutions. Ensure compliance with statutory safety laws and industry standards. Conduct safety training and awareness programs for workers and staff. Maintain documentation related to safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety meetings. Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to promote a safe working environment. Monitor use of PPE and ensure safety signage and emergency equipment are in place and functional.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Engineering or relevant field with recognized Safety Certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, ADIS, etc.). Minimum 5 years of experience in safety roles, preferably in construction, infrastructure, fabrication, or industrial sectors. In-depth knowledge of local HSE regulations, risk management practices, and emergency response procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills. Proficient in safety reporting tools and MS Office. Willingness to travel to multiple project sites when required.
