Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Safety Head to lead and manage the safety operations of our PPE business, focusing on safety equipment and solutions. The ideal candidate will coordinate with various companies, contractors, and vendors to implement safety mechanisms through videos, tutorials, and best safety practices. The Safety Head will operate and manage the business through our dedicated website "SAFEZY" and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



Safety Management:

Monitor all EHSO (Environmental, Health, Safety & Occupational) activities and coordinate with clients, project managers, and HSE officers. Develop and implement site-specific EHS policies, procedures, and training programs. Conduct EHS audits and inspections during project durations, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. Investigate accidents and dangerous occurrences, recommending and implementing preventive measures.

Training & Awareness:

Organize safety campaigns, competitions, and other programs to promote EHS practices. Conduct safety certification courses and provide ongoing training to HSE staff. Develop training modules and conduct training needs assessments for the organization.

Compliance & Legal Obligations:

Review and monitor compliance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and provide relevant training. Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Factories Department, Fire Department, and Pollution Control Board (PCB).

Risk Management:

Maintain hazard awareness programs and conduct risk assessments (HIRA, Baseline, Issue). Evaluate and implement control measures to mitigate potential hazards and risks.

Emergency & Fire Management:

Develop and conduct fire prevention programs, mock drills, and emergency evacuation procedures. Inspect and manage fire safety equipment and installations, such as fire hydrants and suppression systems.

Business Operations & Coordination:

Operate the business through the "SAFEZY" website, managing PPE sales, safety resources, and tutorials. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure the availability and quality of safety equipment. Manage PPE inventory, spare parts, and oversee the Driver Management Center operations at various locations.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:

Educate stakeholders on safety processes, HIRA, SOPs, and EFMEA. Implement initiatives to promote behavioral change and safety ownership across the organization.

Project & Plant Management:

Manage health, safety, and environmental issues related to plant operations, maintenance, and projects. Supervise the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and ensure the safety of all workplace operations.

Quality Assurance:

Oversee quality control processes in the production of PPE and other safety equipment. Ensure adherence to quality parameters and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred. Proven experience (10+ years) in a safety leadership role within the PPE industry or similar sectors. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance standards. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse teams. Experience in managing safety operations through digital platforms or e-commerce websites is a plus. Proficiency in SAP (PM and MM modules) and data analysis tools.
