Key Responsibilities
Site Safety Operations - Lead and monitor daily safety activities on-site, ensuring full compliance with internal HSE policies and legal standards.
New Site Setup Compliance - Drive safety readiness for the new site including hazard assessment, permits, signage, emergency response planning, and contractor safety orientation.
Training & Awareness - Conduct regular safety inductions, toolbox talks, fire drills, and job-specific training sessions for staff and contractors.
Incident Management - Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
Safety Documentation & Reporting - Maintain safety records, audit reports, checklists, and generate timely MIS for leadership review.
Audits & Inspections - Conduct regular site safety inspections and coordinate external/internal safety audits; ensure timely closure of findings.
PPE & Safety Equipment Compliance - Ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintenance of safety infrastructure.
Stakeholder Coordination - Collaborate with Operations, HR, Engineering, and vendor teams to embed safety in every aspect of site functioning.
