Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards at construction sites to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and site safety plans Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company HSE standards Identify potential hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for workers and staff Monitor usage of PPE and safe work practices at site Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommendations Coordinate with project and contractor teams to maintain safety standards Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records Ensure emergency preparedness and response procedures at site

Desired Candidate Profile:

BE/BTech/Diploma in Engineering (preferably Civil / Mechanical) Certification in Safety (NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS / Diploma in Industrial Safety 4+ years of experience in

Real Estate Developer or Construction Company

Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and statutory norms Experience in residential/commercial real estate projects preferred
