Safety engineer

Experience: 2+ years

Location: Shamshabad, Hyderabad

Qualification: Diploma

Implement and monitor HSE policies at the project site in line with statutory and company requirements Conduct daily site safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA) Ensure safe work practices for work at height, lifting operations, hot works, electrical works, and machinery usage Enforce usage of PPE and ensure compliance by all workers and subcontractors Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety trainings regularly Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare corrective & preventive action reports Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve safety issues Maintain safety records including PTW, TPI reports, safety checklists, and statutory documentation Stop unsafe work and report critical safety violations immediately
Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of construction & PEB site safety practices Hands-on experience in HIRA, JSA Good communication and reporting skills Ability to handle site manpower and enforce safety discipline Knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and emergency response
