Key Duties and Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and enforce

health and safety policies and procedures

. Conduct regular

safety inspections

, risk assessments, and audits. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with

local and national safety regulations

(e.g., OSHA, HSE). Organize and deliver

safety training and awareness programs

for employees. Investigate

accidents and near-miss incidents

, prepare reports, and suggest preventive measures. Maintain accurate records of

inspections, incidents, and training

. Collaborate with management and workers to improve workplace safety practices. Ensure proper use and maintenance of

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

. Support emergency response planning and drills. Bachelor's degree in

Occupational Health and Safety

, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certification preferred (e.g.,

NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA Certification, or equivalent

). Strong knowledge of

safety regulations, standards, and best practices

. Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to train and motivate employees to follow safety rules. Attention to detail and strong reporting/documentation skills.

Work Environment

Typically works on-site at

construction sites, factories, hospitals, or corporate offices
