JOB SUMMARY:

Velmayil Developers is looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to oversee and implement safety standards across all construction sites.

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in ongoing and upcoming projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures and policies for all project sites

.? Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.

? Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures to minimize risks

.? Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox meetings for site staff and workers

.? Maintain proper documentation of safety reports, incident logs, and statutory records

.? Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure a safe working environment.

? Investigate accidents or incidents and prepare detailed reports with preventive measures.

? Ensure compliance with local labour laws, environmental guidelines, and safety regulations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

? Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Industrial preferred).

? 7 to 10 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in the construction or real estate sector

.? Certification in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH / IOSH preferred.

? Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, risk assessment, and emergency response.

? Excellent communication and leadership skills.

? Ability to train and guide site personnel on safety practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
