HIRING SAFETY ENGINEER

Location: Bangalore (with regular travel to project site at Hosur, Bangalore)

Experience: Minimum 5 years in safety management within engineering/construction projects

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer to be deployed during the execution phase of our Biogas Plant project at the Siemens facility, Hosur Road, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety standards, manage site safety operations, and coordinate with project stakeholders to drive a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and enforce adherence to EHS standards across the project site.

Implement and monitor all safety protocols mandated by Siemens and Mace Group.

- Coordinate and maintain safety-related documentation and compliance reports.

- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits to ensure workplace safety.

- Supervise safety practices of subcontractors, vendors, and workforce.

- Ensure safety awareness through toolbox talks, training sessions, and inductions.

- Manage incident reporting, investigation, and closure of corrective actions.

Support leadership in achieving a "Zero Harm" culture at the site.

Qualification & Skills:

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Architecture/Technology) OR Diploma in Industrial Safety.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in safety management for engineering, construction, or industrial projects.

- Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and statutory compliance.

- Skilled in safety audits, risk assessments, and reporting.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Must be based in Bangalore and willing to travel regularly to Hosur project site.
