Job Title: Safety Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a diligent Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and be responsible for minimizing risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and implement preventive measures. Provide training and awareness programs on safety practices and emergency response. Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution. Monitor environmental compliance and contribute to sustainability initiatives. Maintain safety documentation and records accurately. Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and technology related to EHS.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Preferable: Certification or coursework in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). Proven experience in safety management within industrial, construction, or engineering environments. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct training sessions and communicate safety protocols effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA Safety Certification, or equivalent is an advantage. Experience with environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives. Proficiency in safety auditing tools and software.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
