Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

Safety cum EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Manager

to oversee workplace safety, compliance, and environmental health initiatives. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to statutory requirements, promote a culture of safety, and implement proactive measures to minimize risks across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Management

Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend corrective actions Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

EHS Compliance

Maintain records of statutory compliance (Factories Act, Pollution Control Board, etc.) Liaise with government authorities for inspections and approvals Drive environmental sustainability initiatives (waste management, energy conservation) Ensure proper documentation of permits, licenses, and certifications

Training & Awareness

Conduct safety training programs and emergency drills for employees Promote awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices Build a culture of proactive safety across all levels of the organization

Emergency Preparedness

Develop and implement emergency response plans Coordinate fire safety, first aid, and disaster management activities

Qualification & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in

science

Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety / EHS / NEBOSH / OSHA

preferred

ADIS (Advance diploma - Fire & Safety)

Skills:

Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance requirements Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to conduct training and awareness programs effectively Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities

Candidate Profile

3-5 years of experience in

Safety / EHS management

within manufacturing or construction industries Hands-on experience with audits, compliance, and liaison with authorities Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a safe work environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
