Position Title: S4 HANA Functional Specialist

Job Location: Bangalore, KA-India

Job Purpose

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP S/4HANA, R3 Functional Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing our business processes through effective utilization of SAP S/4HANA, R3.
• As a Functional Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, configuring, and implementing solutions that align with our organization\'s goals and industry best practices.
• Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our operational efficiency, data integrity, and decision-making capabilities.
• Product Configuration & Data Management (PC&DM) team is accountable for the collaborative creation and maintenance of SAP (R3/ECC/S4 HANA) variant configuration and variant super BOMs on multiple systems with a high impact on multiple brands and market segments, and various facilities.

Job Duties

Key areas of responsibility encountered in this role may include any or all the following:

• Support the functional configuration and implementation/deployment of SAP S/4 HANA.
• This role will require in-depth knowledge and experience in SAP S/4 HANA Functional Configuration. Responsibilities include creating and translating Business Functional Requirements into Technical Requirements and Solution Development, leading team in identifying dependencies, integrations, and configuration requirements.
• In-depth understanding/hand on experience in working in S/4 HANA is MUST
• Experience and knowledge of SAP technologies with Strong ABAP background & Understanding S/4 Hana data structure/models.
• Hands on experience in SAP automations.
• Setting up SAP Variant Configuration models to allows our customers to price and order configurable Products (gensets/engines) online and
• Developing a Super Bill of Materials to allow the correct components to be purchased and built.
• Develop standard processes and techniques to ensure that Product Models and Variant Configurations are being created using the same methodology, which will aid NPI and engineering change velocity and improve product lifecycle quality. Provide technical guidance to teams during the development and implementation of SAP projects to ensure adherence to compatibility standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose compatibility-related problems, working closely with technical teams to resolve issues efficiently. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• The role will include rapid resolution of production critical and dealer-facing issues and thorough root cause analysis to ensure permanent corrective actions are in place.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in SAP S/4HANA and proactively propose enhancements that align with evolving business needs.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive with ownership mindset
• Be at the forefront of exploring and learning new technologies, frameworks quickly and apply the knowledge effectively. Should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive issue resolution across teams. Should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and sensitive to established schedules and requirements.
• Should possess excellent collaborative and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate flexibility in handing the multiple projects work with multi-regional teams across different time zones including developers, quality assurance, and system administrators, to address compatibility challenges and find effective solutions.

Success factors :

• Keeping up-to-date with SAP technology advancements is required to ensure that PC&DM is developing new techniques and processes that will enhance NPI/NSI and engineering change velocity and product lifecycle quality. This position will collaborate with an immediate work group or project team, a division or business unit, and internal business partners to make decisions. Typically, decisions affect a variety of divisional products, brands, global facilities, and customer experiences.

Key skills and Knowledge requirements:

• Hands-on technical experience in ERP systems and SAP (R3/ECC/S4 HANA) variant configuration, bills of material and material masters.
• Must be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience in ERP systems, SAP (R3/ECC/S4 HANA) variant configuration, BOM, Material masters and working knowledge in AVC is a plus.
• Proven experience 2+ years working as an SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules and their integration points.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex business processes and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Project management skills to drive initiatives from conception to completion.
• SAP S/4HANA certification and Expertise in Power BI is a plus.

(Desired)

• 2+ years of variant Configuration experience of genset, engine or similar automobile/machine products.
