Cobbler and Crew, part of a dynamic group of award-winning bars and restaurants, seeks a passionate and experienced Head of Bar to join our growing team.
Job Summary: The Food Runner acts as a vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring smooth delivery of food and beverages to guests. This role focuses on maintaining excellent communication with the kitchen and front-of-house staff, providing exceptional service, and contributing to an unforgettable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Food and Beverage Delivery:
Promptly deliver food and beverages to guests while ensuring accuracy.
Carry trays and plates safely to maintain food presentation and quality.
Communication and Coordination:
Act as a bridge between kitchen staff and servers, relaying messages and addressing any issues.
Communicate order statuses and inform servers of any delays or changes.
Guest Experience:
Assist in providing exceptional service by addressing guest requests when needed.
Maintain a polite and professional demeanor at all times.
Setup and Cleanup:
Ensure food and beverage stations are stocked and ready before service.
Clear tables, remove dirty dishes, and assist in resetting for the next guests.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Support teammates during peak hours to maintain efficiency.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Follow all hygiene and food safety standards.
Ensure safe handling of trays and dishes to avoid spills and accidents.
Requirements
Requirements:
0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with restaurant or bar environments.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Comfortable lifting trays, plates, and other items as required.
Willingness to learn and adapt to dynamic service environments.
