We work on high-end residential projects, hotels, and commercial spaces. As we establish our new rugs showroom, we're looking for a passionate and ambitious Rugs Specialist to join our team and help build something exceptional from the ground up.
What We're Looking For
We're not just after someone who can sell rugs - we want someone who wants to grow with us and help establish Mumbai's finest luxury rug destination. Key Responsibilities
Selling premium rugs including Persian, contemporary, handmade, machine-made, and custom pieces
Building and managing supplier relationships across India and internationally
Creating simple sketches and room layouts to help customers visualize their spaces
Managing both walk-in retail customers and B2B clients (hotels, offices, interior designers)
Negotiating pricing with suppliers to maximize margins
Working to (and exceeding) monthly sales targets
Handling custom rug orders from design to delivery
Making home visits for high-value clients when required
Requirements
Minimum 7-8 years' experience selling rugs or luxury home furnishings. Experience in luxury interior design or construction industry preferred.
Proven track record of building supplier networks and negotiating deals
Strong sales background with demonstrated results
Excellent English and Hindi communication skills
Basic drawing/sketching abilities for customer consultations
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Physical fitness to handle rug displays and showroom management
A two-wheeler/driving license is highly desirable
Existing contacts in Mumbai's interior design/furniture market is a plus

Location Requirement
Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Mumbai showroom daily. This is a full-time, on-site position.
