Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced

Ruby on Rails Developer

to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, database systems (SQL), and experience with cloud platforms such as

Azure or GCP

. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend systems and APIs to support our web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using

Ruby on Rails

. Design and implement robust RESTful APIs to support frontend services. Integrate data storage solutions and manage

SQL database design and optimization

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues. Ensure high code quality through automated tests and code reviews. Deploy and maintain applications on

cloud platforms (Azure or GCP)

. Keep up with emerging trends and technologies in web development and cloud computing.

Mandatory Skills

Proven experience (4-6 years)

in

Ruby on Rails development

. Proficiency in

SQL

, database design, and query optimization. Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform:

Azure

or

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

. Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with frontend technologies like JavaScript, React, or Vue.js. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
