Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development.

Strong proficiency in Ruby, Rails, and MVC architecture.

Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

Good knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL.

Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Understanding of deployment on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus).

Good to Have:

Experience with RSpec or other testing frameworks.

Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
