About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

Rubrik Backup Administrator / Specialist

with deep expertise in data protection, cloud backup, and disaster recovery operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing

Rubrik environments

, optimizing backup strategies across multi-cloud platforms, and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and optimize

Rubrik backup and recovery operations

across virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V). Design and maintain backup strategies for

AWS, Azure, GCP

, and

VAST Storage

. Evaluate Rubrik deployments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Integrate Rubrik with SIEM, CMDB, and orchestration tools. Conduct

risk assessments

, audits, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with data protection frameworks (

GDPR, HIPAA, DORA

). Lead

knowledge-sharing sessions

, technical documentation, and best practice implementations. Manage and troubleshoot

O365 backups

(Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams). Monitor and report on backup performance and data integrity. Collaborate with IT, cloud, and storage teams for seamless system integration.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in

Rubrik

(primary skill). Solid understanding of

VAST Storage

and

Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)

environments. In-depth knowledge of

enterprise backup architectures

and

cloud-native disaster recovery

. Experience managing

data protection compliance frameworks

. Proficiency in documenting and communicating technical processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with

Disaster Recovery and Continuity Planning

. Familiarity with

backup and recovery automation

. Ability to provide

training and mentorship

to junior team members.
