Job Description

A Rubber Molding Operator is responsible for operating rubber molding machines, loading materials, monitoring the molding process, and ensuring finished rubber components meet quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, machine-handling skills, and the ability to follow safety and production guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Operate rubber molding machines (compression, injection, or transfer molding). Load rubber compound or preforms into molds as per production instructions. Set machine parameters like temperature, heating time, pressure, and cycle time. Monitor machine operation to ensure smooth, consistent molding. Remove molded parts, trim excess flash, and inspect for quality defects. Clean molds and apply mold release agents as required. Maintain cleanliness of the working area and machines. Record daily production output and report any abnormalities. Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times. Assist in mold changing and basic machine maintenance when needed.

Requirements

Experience in rubber molding / rubber manufacturing preferred (1-2 years). Knowledge of molding machines and production cycles. Ability to work in a hot environment and handle repetitive tasks. Basic understanding of quality checks (surface finish, dimensions, defects). Physically fit and capable of handling manual work. Willingness to work in shifts if required.
