:
o The purpose of the role is to perform daily and monthly financial and accounting transactions with the general ledger system. o The purpose is also to manage and execute monthly analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
Key Accountabilities:
o Daily Allocation of work to the team o Manage and supervise activities such as journal postings, GL/SL & Balance sheet reconciliations, Fixed Assets, and reporting. o Manage Helpdesk activities. o Identify queries and resolve after communicating with the customer. o Responsible for performing general accounting activities. o Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of accounting records. o Prepare various month end reports. o Assist to provide variance analysis and commentaries. o Month-end Close o Implementing controls and SODs o Activity reviews o Preparation and adherence to the SOP. Periodic update of the same o Monthly/Quarterly governance deck and preparation of other reporting's.
Systems
o Develop a moderate level of proficiency in the following systems: - MS Office suite. - Knowledge of Excel macro and MS access database creation Knowledge of Oracle (Finance modules) o
VNA & Language
Have fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Can interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner
Soft skills
o Shows genuine empathy to customers experiencing connection difficulties. o Ability to handle difficult customer conversations and work under pressure. o Actively identifies customer cues and responds appropriately. o Able to communicate effectively across a group with diverse backgrounds. o High energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountability
