RTL DESIGN ENGINEER
THE ROLE
:
We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivative design verification engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Verification Engineering team furthers and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.
THE PERSON:
You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.
About the Role
We are seeking strong RTL designer with either IP design and SOC Integration experience in a Product set up that went for Tapeouts. The role looks for various skills sets on Protocol like AXI, processor peripherals and Interconnect and protocols like PCIE. A minimum of 2-3 technical skills are must have to be successful in this role. The preference is for candidates who have delivered and worked for SOC design as IP lead and understands SOC requirements for a Subsystem IP (like constraints, quality etc. Strong understanding of digital/logic design that leads to Microarchitecture is plus.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Subsystem for Processor (ARM, RISC-V) subsystems for AMD/AECG SoCs.
Drive end-to-end Subsystem IP and SoC design collateral from concept to production.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members
Ensure timely delivery of projects while meeting quality standards.
Provide strong technical solution to internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
Proven experience in SOC design roles with focus on RTL design of subsystem IP and delivery to SOC
Expertise in Micro-architecture design and presentation
Expertise and strong understanding of RTL quality checks and constraints for Subsystem IP
Excellent communication skill
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including designing experiments for performance
Self-motivated and proactive in driving initiatives.
Academic Credentials
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
