. The role involves end-to-end RTL design ownership, from micro-architecture definition to design quality checks, with a strong focus on safety-critical automotive standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and implement
digital design IPs
for automotive microcontroller infrastructure and system resources.
Derive
micro-architecture
from architectural specifications and functional requirements.
Develop
complex RTL designs
independently or as part of a larger design team.
Insert
Design for Test (DFT)
and
Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
structures including
scan chains and memory BIST
.
Define and implement
safety-related structures
to meet the required
ASIL levels
.
Perform design quality checks including
synthesis
,
lint
,
CDC/RDC
,
DFT
, and
power analysis
.
Create and maintain
design documentation
in compliance with
ISO 26262 (functional safety)
and
ISO 21434 (cybersecurity)
standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics
, or a related technical field.
Strong hands-on experience in
area- and power-efficient RTL design
using
Verilog or VHDL
.
Solid understanding of how
RTL maps to gate-level implementations
.
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as
Ethernet, PCIe, CAN, SPI, and SENT
.
Experience working effectively in
team-based and cross-functional environments
.
Exposure to
international and multi-cultural technical teams
.
Basic knowledge of
automotive safety standards
, especially
ISO 26262
.
Excellent
English communication skills
;
German language skills
are a plus.
