Job Summary
The Retail Sales Officer is responsible for driving in-store sales by delivering excellent customer service, promoting products, and maintaining an organized and attractive retail environment. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, achieving sales targets, and representing the brand professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs
Promote and sell products to achieve individual and store sales targets
Provide accurate information on product features, pricing, and promotions
Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges using POS systems
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Maintain product displays, stock levels, and store cleanliness
Monitor inventory and report low stock or discrepancies
Participate in visual merchandising and promotional activities
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications are a plus)
Previous retail or sales experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a positive attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Basic computer and POS system knowledge
Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting
