Job Description

Opening for an experienced Rotogravure Machine Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining rotogravure printing machines to ensure high-quality output for for specialty chemical-based printed materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma / Technical Certification in Printing Technology preferred. 3-8 years of experience operating rotogravure machines in printing, packaging, or chemical industries.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate rotogravure press, including cylinder, ink, and substrate preparation. Manage print runs for films, industrial laminates, and specialty printed substrates. Adjust machine parameters (speed, pressure, temperature, tension, viscosity, etc.) to maintain print quality. Monitor print quality, colour consistency, and registration during production. Adjust ink flow, web tension, pressure, and speed for optimal output. Conduct routine quality checks and maintain production records. Perform cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of press components. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with prepress, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
Quality Control

Inspect printed materials for color consistency, registration, defects, and coating quality. Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary corrective adjustments. Ensure products meet company and client specifications, including chemical-resistant and durable print requirements.
Safety & Compliance

Follow all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols for chemical handling and machine operation.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily production logs, ink usage records, job cards, and downtime reports.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
