Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining rotogravure printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials as per job specifications while ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate rotogravure press, including cylinder, ink, and substrate preparation.
Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration during production.
Adjust ink flow, web tension, pressure, and speed for optimal output.
Conduct routine quality checks and maintain production records.
Perform cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of press components.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with prepress, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
Requirements:
Experience in rotogravure or similar printing process.
Knowledge of inks, solvents, and color matching.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.
