About the Role



We are looking for a

Rooftop Sales Manager

with a strong technical understanding of rooftop mounting structures and proven sales capability in commercial & industrial solar projects. The role spans technical assessment, solution recommendation, negotiations, and end-to-end customer ownership.

Core Responsibilities1. Technical Expertise & Solution Design



Strong understanding of rooftop mounting systems:

flat roofs, metal sheet roofs, RCC, and elevated structures

. Knowledge of loading parameters, dead load limits, roof orientation, waterproofing issues, and structural safety. Collaborate with structural engineers and design teams to offer optimal rooftop solutions. Sell based on

site-specific challenges

, aesthetics, maintenance access, and commercial/industrial building layouts. Recommend mounting solutions aligned with customer priorities:

space optimization, aesthetics, maintenance accessibility

. Experienced in

BOQ preparation, layout approvals, pre-bid design requirements

, and roof-level constraints. Understand pricing models (per kW / per sq.ft / per MT) and cost drivers.

2. Sales Ownership & Project Delivery



Handle complete sales cycle:

lead generation ? proposal ? negotiation ? closure ? delivery

. Coordinate with design, logistics, and execution teams for smooth, timely installations. Ensure a

hassle-free experience

for customers from first interaction to final system handover. Maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, developers, and rooftop integrators.

3. Commercial Negotiations & Partnerships



Skilled in

offer structuring, payment terms, commercial negotiations

, and profitable deal closures. Build and nurture long-term partnerships with EPCs, channel partners, and regional integrators. Provide channel partners with

training, documentation, and proposal support

. Track local policy updates, net metering changes, DISCOM rules, and regional rooftop incentives.

4. Leadership & Team Support



Lead and guide junior sales engineers and field executives. Coach team members on pitch quality, negotiation strategies, and customer handling. Share best practices and contribute to improving overall closure rates.

QualificationsEducation



B.E./B.Tech

in Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, or Civil Engineering (Required for technical understanding of solar rooftop systems)

Preferred:



MBA / PGDM

in Marketing, Sales, or Operations (Helpful for leadership and strategic sales responsibilities)

Industry Experience



Experience in the

solar

,

manufacturing

, or

service

industry is an added advantage. Exposure to

India or Middle East

rooftop solar markets is beneficial.

Pay: ?13,473.51 - ?60,000.00 per month
