KITE ROBOTICS: Junior Research Associate (Robotics Trainer)

KITE ROBOTICS is a leading institution advancing hands-on STEM education across Robotics, Coding, 3D Printing, and IoT. We partner with schools and colleges to set up state-of-the-art robotics labs and deliver experiential learning that inspires future innovators.

As a Junior Research Associate, you will bridge research, education, and real-world application. You will co-develop technical curricula, manage robotics labs, and mentor students through projects in Robotics, Automation, and IoT directly shaping the next generation of technologists.

Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing technical curriculum, managing robotics labs, and mentoring students.

What You'll Do

Research and Curriculum

o Co-create with R&D team to course modules, lab activities, and project kits aligned to emerging technologies.

Translate complex concepts into engaging, hands-on learning materials.

Lab Operations and Instruction

Set up, operate, and maintain robotics labs at partner institutions. Deliver practical training and workshops on Robotics, Automation, and IoT.

Project Development

Design and execute innovative student projects; guide end-to-end from ideation to demo. Support participation in technical fairs, hackathons, and competitions.

Program Quality and Reporting

Conduct periodic audits, evaluations, and research studies; present insights with clear recommendations.

Collaboration and Mentorship

Partner with educators and stakeholders to enhance learning outcomes. Mentor students on problem-solving, documentation, and presentation.

What brings you to table

Education

o B.E./B.Tech. in ECE, EEE, Mechatronics, Robotics & Automation, or related discipline.

o M.sc, in Electronics, physics or related discipline.

Technical Skills

o Strong fundamentals in Basic Electronics and Coding.

o Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

o

An Added plus:

CAD/SolidWorks or similar; Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and IoT platforms.

Soft Skills

o Clear communication, empathy for learners, and strong mentoring aptitude.

o Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and basic project management.

o Passion for teaching and knowledge sharing.

Location, Travel, and Work Model

Primary base: Chennai. Travel to partner sites across Ambur, Vellore, Madurai, Thiruvarur, Thiruthuraipoondi, Mayiladuthurai, and Pondicherry for project-based assignments. Fixed work timings, collaborative, supportive environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Total Annual CTC: ₹2,16,000

Initial six-month training period.

Genuine passion for education and technical mentorship is essential. Minimum commitment of one year; agreement-based engagement. Original documents required for verification and securely held for the contract period.
