The Robotics Trainer will be a key facilitator in the Moinee Foundation's Robotics Lab Program, responsible for delivering engaging and effective robotics and IoT training to school students. This role involves guiding students through project-based learning, fostering critical thinking, and promoting a deep understanding of STEM concepts through practical application.
Key Responsibilities
? Design and deliver hands-on, inquiry-based robotics and IoT (Internet of Things) training sessions to school students.
? Guide students in the use of educational robotics kits such as VEX IQ and Strawbees for various projects.
? Teach fundamental programming concepts using microcontrollers like Arduino and Micro: bit to control robots and IoT (Internet of Things) devices.
? Educate students on the application of sensors and actuators in robotics and real-world IoT(Internet of Things) solutions.
? Facilitate structured, project-based learning activities that encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation.
? Connect IoT (Internet of Things) applications to everyday problems, making learning practical and relatable for students (e.g., smart alarms, temperature monitoring systems).
? Promote critical thinking, creativity, and a collaborative learning environment.
? Document session progress, student achievements, and prepare periodic reports as required.
? Ensure the proper maintenance and inventory of robotics lab equipment and kits.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Robotics Expertise:
? Strong understanding of core robotics concepts (mechanics, electronics, programming).
? Demonstrable experience working with and teaching using educational robotics kits, specifically VEX IQ and Strawbees.
? Proficiency in programming microcontrollers such as Arduino and Micro:bit.
? Experience with various sensors and actuators commonly used in robotics projects.
? Ability to guide students through structured, project-based learning.

Internet of Things (IoT) Knowledge:
? Familiarity with IoT fundamentals, including integrating sensors with microcontrollers.
? Experience with real-time data monitoring and building basic automation projects.

? A genuine passion for promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

? Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse groups of students.
? Willingness to travel to various school locations as required by the program.
Basic skills in documentation and report writing.
