As a Robotics / ROS Intern, you will collaborate with our engineering and research teams to design, program, and integrate robotic systems and automation solutions. This internship provides a strong foundation for those passionate about robotics, mechatronics, and intelligent system development, offering hands-on experience in both hardware and software aspects of robotics using the Robot Operating System (ROS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Robotics System Development:
Assist in designing, assembling, and programming robotic systems for educational or industrial applications.
Support development of autonomous functionalities and control algorithms using ROS.
Work with robotic kits, sensors, actuators, and controllers for system prototyping.
Programming and Simulation:
Develop code in C/C++ or Python within ROS environments.
Use simulation and visualization tools (e.g., ROS Gazebo, RViz) to validate systems.
Support firmware and software updates for robotic platforms.
Hardware Integration:
Integrate microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and communication modules into robotic systems.
Perform system testing, debugging, and optimization for performance and reliability.
Research and Innovation:
Explore and implement new concepts in robotics, ROS-based automation, AI, IoT.
Contribute ideas to improve system efficiency, modularity, reusability using ROS's ecosystems and packages.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with senior engineers and team members in executing real-world robotics projects.
Participate in project reviews, documentation, and technical discussions.
Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
Basic knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and motor control systems.
Familiarity (or willingness to learn) programming in C/C++, Python, and working within ROS.
Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and willingness to learn new frameworks and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Benefits:
Hands-on training in robotics and automation with ROS.
Exposure to real-world robotic systems, tools, and technologies
Mentorship from experienced engineers and educators.
Certification upon completion and potential for future employment or advanced projects.
