Robotics Researcher and Mentor @TIS

From workshops or classrooms to the living room or zoom rooms, you will empower the students to embrace innovation and curiosity. You will research and develop various robotics projects for the curriculum. You will work side by side with the curriculum development team and students to pave a path towards an innovative and collaborative future.

In this role, you will be a researcher and a mentor for the students enrolled in the courses offered by TIS. This position works out of The Innovation Story's office in Bangalore or is remote depending on the course you teach.

What will you do?

As a pioneer to guide the potential innovator, you will -

Research and develop creative and cutting-edge robotics projects Work with the curriculum development team Mentor a cohort of students, assess them Be an active part of the curriculum development team and lesson planning Track the progress of the student and create a report Manage the classroom, evaluate, and give feedback to the student Cultivate a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students to foster collaboration and innovation Create and keep records of attendance, lesson plans, incidents, and other noteworthy events in accordance with the program

Additionally support in

Managing the day-to-day operations of the robotics lab, ensuring efficient workflow and allocation of resources. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Handling the regular maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic systems, ensuring all lab tools are functioning optimally.

This job requires you to have -

1-2 year experience with teaching K-12 students is preferred Bachelor's degree in a technical-related field Highly developed oral and written communication skills. Ability to build relationships effectively and professionally with families and students. Having experience with teaching technical skills would be a plus
