The Robotics Lab In-Charge plays a pivotal role in managing a school's robotics or STEM laboratory by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining a safe and collaborative learning environment, and mentoring students in hands-on innovation. This role focuses on guiding students in robotics, electronics, coding, and prototyping while supporting the school's vision for technology-driven education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Mentoring & Training
Guide students in using lab tools, electronics components, and robotics kits.
Support students in developing ideas, building prototypes, and completing robotics/STEM projects.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and proper handling of equipment.
2. Lab Management
Oversee daily lab operations, including scheduling sessions and allocating resources.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory environment.
Ensure compliance with school policies and safety standards.
3. Equipment & Inventory Management
Maintain and troubleshoot robotics and STEM equipment such as Arduino Uno, Raspberry Pi, sensors, motors, and electronic tools.
Manage inventory of consumables, components, and kits.
Coordinate procurement, repairs, and vendor communication when required.
4. Curriculum & Content Delivery
Design and deliver engaging robotics and STEM lessons, workshops, and project-based modules.
Align curriculum with educational guidelines (e.g., CBSE/ICSE) and school objectives.
Inspire creativity, problem-solving, and innovation in students.
5. Coordination & Reporting
Act as a key contact between school leadership, external mentors, and vendors.
Maintain records of lab sessions, student progress, and project documentation.
Prepare and submit periodic reports to relevant authorities such as the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) where applicable.
6. Professional Development
Stay updated with emerging trends in robotics, coding, AI, IoT, and STEM education.
Participate in continuous training programs to enhance technical and teaching skills.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's of Technology in Robotics, Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field (preferred).
2-4 years of experience working in a robotics/STEM lab or training environment.
Practical experience with platforms such as
Arduino Uno

Raspberry Pi
, robotics kits, sensors, and basic programming.
Strong communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
